Subscription Policy

This page explains how the Subscribe & Save program works at Whole Food Formulas. By starting a subscription, you agree to the terms below in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

How subscriptions work

When you choose the subscription option on any product page, you are signing up for automatic recurring orders of that product at the cadence you select.

  • Cadence options. Every 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months. You pick per product and you can change it anytime.
  • Discount. Every subscription order is 10% off the regular product price. The discount applies to every delivery for as long as the subscription remains active.
  • Payment. Your saved payment method is charged on each scheduled renewal date. Your order ships shortly after payment is successful.
  • Shipping. Standard shipping rates apply to each delivery. Any promotional free-shipping thresholds apply as usual.
  • Confirmation. You will receive an order confirmation email for each renewal order, the same way you would for a one-time purchase.

Managing your subscription

You can manage your subscription at any time from your customer account. Log in at wholefoodformulas.com/account and open the subscription you want to manage.

From your account you can:

  • Skip a delivery. Skip the next scheduled order without canceling the subscription.
  • Pause. Pause the subscription indefinitely. Resume whenever you want.
  • Change cadence. Switch between 1, 2, and 3 month intervals.
  • Change shipping address. Update where future orders ship.
  • Update payment method. Replace the card on file.
  • Cancel. End the subscription. You will not be charged for any future deliveries.

There are no cancellation fees and no minimum number of deliveries.

Payment reminders and renewal notifications

A few days before each renewal charge, we send a reminder email with the order details and a link to skip, pause, or cancel if you want to. If you do not take action, the order renews automatically.

If you ever receive a renewal email and want to stop the order, act before the charge date. Once a charge goes through and the order is processed, our standard subscription refund policy below applies.

When a payment fails

If the card on file is declined, we retry the payment up to three times, spaced about seven days apart. We email you each time so you can update your payment method. If the third attempt fails, the subscription is canceled and we notify you.

You can always update your payment method from your account to restart things before we reach the final attempt.

When a product is out of stock

If the product you are subscribed to is temporarily out of stock on your renewal date, we attempt the order up to five times, about a day apart, while we wait for restock. If it is still unavailable, we skip that delivery and notify you. Your subscription stays active and the next cycle continues normally.

Refunds on subscription orders

You can return unopened subscription orders within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. Shipping costs both ways are the customer's responsibility unless the product arrived defective or we shipped the wrong item.

To start a subscription return, email hello@wholefoodformulas.com with your order number.

Opened subscription orders are generally not eligible for return. If there is a problem with the product or the order, reach out and we will work with you to make it right.

Changes to subscription terms

If we make meaningful changes to this subscription policy, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. You can review, skip, or cancel at any time in response.
